Inviting candidates to Video Interview

Note: The system restricts candidates to taking the interview only once.

1. Identifying the Open Position:

  • Within the Ovii Home page, navigate to the Positions section.

  • You can either browse the list displayed on the Positions tab or directly select a specific position listing.

  • To create a new position for hiring purposes, kindly refer to the guide available on the page.

Important Note: Before inviting candidates, ensure the chosen position was configured during creation to solely utilize asynchronous video interviews and does not include a skill assessment component. If the position involves both a skill assessment and a video interview, candidates must first successfully complete the skill assessment to be eligible for the video interview stage.

  1. Once you've identified the relevant position, locate the section dedicated to Asynchronous Video Interviews within the position details. Refer to the provided image for reference

  1. Click the designated button labelled Invite Candidates. This action will likely direct you to the Resume Match page.

Filling Out the Resume Match Page

To initiate the matching process, fill in the two mandatory fields:

  • Job Description (JD): Enter a detailed description of the position, ensuring it’s at least 50 characters. A comprehensive JD will optimize the matching algorithm.

  • Candidate Resume: Upload the candidate’s resume in text format ensuring it’s at least 50 characters. Supplying the resume in text format allows Ovii’s system to accurately assess the candidate’s qualifications against the job description.

Resume Match Score and Details: Upon clicking Continue, Ovii will generate a visual slider displaying the resume match score. This score indicates how well the candidate's resume aligns with the specified job description.

Leveraging the insights from the resume match and your own judgment, you can proceed to build a video interview for the candidate.

Click on the Continue button to proceed or Reject button to return to the Resume Match page

Once you’ve finalized the interview, click Send Invite button to send an automated email containing a link to the interview. This email streamlines the communication process by effortlessly inviting the candidate to participate in the assessment.

Additionally, the slider will present a breakdown of the candidate's resume details, providing you with a deeper understanding of their qualifications. For more detailed information on the different fields refer page.
